Betty L. Cribbs, 92, of Bettendorf, died Sunday, January 31, 2021 at UnityPoint Trinity, Bettendorf.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 5, 2021 at 12:00PM, in the All Faith Chapel at Halligan-McCabe-DeVries Funeral Home in Davenport. Visitation will be held from 10:00 until service time at the funeral home. Burial will be in Oakdale Memorial Gardens. Memorials may be made to the family. Face masks are to be worn and social distancing respected.
Betty was born November 11, 1928 in Rock Island, Illinois to Harry and Mary Roberts. She was employed by Mississippi Bend Area Education Agency and Eastern Iowa Community College until she retired. Betty was a member of the Catholic Women’s Group and life-long member of St. Anthony’s Catholic Church.
Betty enjoyed spending time with her family, cooking Sunday dinner, watching sports/food channels and making daily calls to her only sister Marilyn.
Those left to honor her memory include her grandchildren: Alysia (Charles) Thompson, Omaha, Nebraska; Heidi Graves, Stevey Graves, Jeremy Graves, Teri Graves, Gary Roberts, Jr., Barry Green, Jr., Latoshia Butler, all of Davenport; Sirrelous “Reed” (Shardae) Graves Jr., Bettendorf; Rachel Roberts and Jamiel Culps, both of Burlington, Iowa; 22 great-grandchildren; sister, Marilyn Cribbs, Bettendorf; and a host of nieces and nephews and great and great-great nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her mother and father; son, Gary Roberts, Sr.; daughter, Carol Cribbs; beloved son-in-law, Sirrelous Graves; beloved granddaughter, Allyisen Graves; and great-grandchild, Dominic Watson-Graves.
