William Chester

Graveside Services for William C. “Billy” Chester, 58, a resident of Davenport, will be 11am Tuesday, March 17, 2020 in Davenport Memorial Park. Billy passed away Tuesday, March 10, 2020 at his home in Davenport.  Halligan-McCabe-DeVries Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

William Charles Chester was born July 22, 1961 in San Benito, Texas, a son of Lloyd Chester, Sr. and Patricia (Milem) Chester.  Billy worked as a bartender and enjoyed doing yardwork, growing flowers and was an avid reader.

Memorials may be made to the Diabetes Foundation or the family.

Those left to honor Billy’s memory include his mother, Patricia Chester, Davenport; siblings:  Laura Williams, Dennis Chester, Lloyd Chester, all of Davenport, and James Chester, Denver, Colorado; and several aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his father and a sister in infancy.
