Wayne Seefieldt

Funeral services for Wayne Seefieldt, 63, of Davenport, will be 2:30pm Wednesday at the Halligan-McCabe-DeVries Funeral Home, Davenport.  Visitation will be from 1:30pm until time of service Wednesday at the funeral home.  Burial will be in Fairmount Cemetery, Davenport.

Mr. Seefieldt passed away on Friday, April 27, 2018 at his home, surrounded by his family.

Wayne Alan Seefieldt was born July 25, 1954 in Davenport, a son of Rueben and Laura (Payne) Seefieldt.  He was united in marriage to Victoria Lynn Davis on December 23, 1978 in Shreveport, LA.  She preceded him in death on December 16, 2014.

Wayne was a diesel mechanic and loved riding his Harley, racing, fishing, helping his grandson Brandon with his race cars, family cookouts, and his dogs, especially Bailey.

Those left to honor his memory include his daughters Regan (Ricky) Setser, Cristy (Mark Ockenfels) Seefieldt, and Lori Seefieldt; grandchildren Kadie (Michael) Buechel, Nicholas (Tamra) Blum, Brandon (Chyna) Setser, Madison Seefieldt, Jerimy Henson, Jr, and Ethan Henson; great grandchildren Makenzi, Carter, Bryson, and Adalynn, all of Davenport; and  sisters Debbie Seefieldt, Moline, and Robin Seefieldt, Atlanta.

In addition to his wife Vickie, his parents, brother Denny, and nephew Brett Ranson, preceded him in death.
