Virginia “Louise” Malik, passed away, Sunday, May 8, 2022 at The University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 pm, Friday, June 10, 2022 at Davenport Memorial Park in the columbarium by the lake to the West of the entrance. Private family burial will take place immediately following the graveside service. A potluck and time of celebration will be held at 12:30 pm, Saturday, June 11, 2022 at 7th Day Adventist Church. Memorials may be made to Ima survivor donkey and animal farm sanctuary by visiting their website at www.imasurvivorsanctuary.com or to the church to be used for children’s ministry.
Louise was born on December 1, 1952, daughter of Pete and Norma Jean (Sexton) Anderson. She was united in marriage to Dennis Malik on August 21, 1988 in Davenport.
Louise loved her animals, especially squirrels and dogs. She also enjoyed sewing, quilting, gardening, canning and driving around to just enjoy the view. She had a heart of gold and would go out of her way to help others. Above all, she loved her family and cherished the time she spent with them.
Those left to honor her memory include, husband, Dennis, children, Steven (Morgan) Malik, Brian (Jennifer) Weets, Michael (Tymbra) Weets, and Dr. Kristy (Dr. Drew) Davis; 13 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; and niece Tiffany Frank.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and brother Clifford Anderson and sister Evelyn Frank.
