Vinterrica D. Hubert

Funeral services celebrating the life of Vinterrica Hubert, 37, of Newton, IA, and formerly of Davenport, will be held at 11am on Friday, September 6, 2024, at Halligan-McCabe-DeVries Funeral Home, Davenport. Burial will be in Pine Hill Cemetery, Davenport. Visitation will be from 10am until time of services Friday at the funeral home.

Ms. Hubert passed away Wednesday, August 21, 2024, at the University of Iowa Hospital.

Vinterrica Denice Hubert was born May 27, 1987, in Davenport, a daughter of Vincent Harris and Delores Hubert-Williams.

Vinterrica loved spending time with her large family, especially her children.

Those left to honor her memory include her husband Alex Givens of Newton; daughter Aiyanna Houston; sons Alvin Houston Jr, Demeer Arpy Jr; father Vincent Harris of Newton; siblings Lakishya Howard, Vincent Howard, Jamie Howard, Dominique Carter, Deon Harris, Angela Harris, Tierra Johnson, Kelsey Overton, Ashanti Cousins, Payton Smith, Ahnikah Harris, Zavina Harris, Honesty Fraker, Jamari Fraker, Amoney Harris, Dorothy Harris; and a host of loving extended family members.

She was preceded in death by her mother; brother Lorenzo Hubert, and sister Vincelina Howard.
