Travena Perkins

Funeral services celebrating the life of Travena A. Perkins, 16, of Davenport, will be at Noon on Wednesday, April 7, 2021 at the Halligan-McCabe-DeVries Funeral Home, 614 Main St, Davenport.  The funeral will be livestreamed and may be viewed by visiting www.hmdfuneralhome.com.  Burial will follow at Oakdale Memorial Gardens, Davenport.  Visitation will be from 10am until time of service at the funeral home.   Masks and social distancing are required.  Memorials may be made to the family.

Ms. Perkins passed away on Saturday, March 27, 2021 in Davenport.

Travena Ann Perkins was born January 17, 2005, in Davenport, a daughter of Travis Perkins and Carlissa Stamps.  She had attended Davenport Central High School.

She loved her siblings and family, making clothes, doing her hair and nails, rapping, dancing, and could out cook anybody.

She leaves behind her mother Carlissa Stamps, Moline; father Travis (Tenieka) Perkins, Davenport; siblings Marvie, Treyveon, Aikia, Travis Jr, Travaya, Dereon, Addilin, Alexia, Anta-Naysia, Treasure, Trystyn, Raveyah, Taurean, Taryq, Taryn, Naomi, Amil, Jemariana, Jevaughn, and Jeziah; maternal grandmother Taunita Brazile; paternal grandparents Deborah Chandler and Steve Thornton; godmother Juanita Parker; aunts Brittany, Nicole, Jasmine and Rochelle; uncles Mercury, Marvie, and James; cousins Amiyah “Stinky”, Adonis “Nephew”, Seville, Jalayza, Nilea, Jaylynn and Treasure.

Her maternal grandfather James Brazile, and great grandmother Doris Hicks, preceded her in death.
