Toni Holcomb

Funeral services celebrating the life of Toni Holcomb, 53, of Davenport, will be held at noon on Friday, January 24, 2025, at the Halligan-McCabe-DeVries Funeral Home, Davenport. Visitation will be from 11am until the time of services at the funeral home. The rite of cremation has been accorded. 

 Ms. Holcomb passed away Sunday, January 19, 2025, at the University of Iowa Hospital.

Toni Rena’e Holcomb was born November 16, 1971, in Davenport, a daughter of Gary and Kim (Garrow) Holcomb Sr. She was united in marriage to Carl Mayfield on December 4, 2009, in Davenport, and he preceded her in death on September 5, 2018.

Prior to her illness, she had worked as a CNA and most recently for Costco. 

Toni loved spending time with her family, especially her children and grandchildren. She also enjoyed reading and listening to all genres of music but particularly liked old R & B. She was a kind and giving person, making one final gift as an organ donor.

Those left to honor her memory include her daughter Kayla (Steven Lovedy) Holcomb of Davenport; sons Michael (Alicia Long) Mayfield of Davenport, Carl Brown of Monroe City, MO, Robert Brown of Davenport; grandchildren Kylie and Liam Lovedy, Kaysen and Kamryn Mayfield, Damiere Brown; mother Kim Holcomb of Davenport; sister Carrie Holcomb of Davenport; and nephews Dylan Holcomb and Devin Castel of Davenport.

Additionally she was preceded in death by her father and brother Gary Holcomb Jr.
