Timothy Conger

Funeral services and a Mass of Christian Burial for Timothy V. Conger, 53, a resident of Davenport, will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, November 3, 2018 at Holy Family Catholic Church, Davenport. Burial will take place in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Davenport.  Visitation will be Friday (today) from 4:00 until 7:00 p.m. at the Halligan-McCabe-DeVries Funeral Home 614 N. Main Street, Davenport. Memorials may be made to A.F.T.D. (Association for Frontal Temporal Degeneration) or The A.L.S. Association.  Tim died Wednesday, October 31, 2018 at his home.

Timothy Victor Conger was born December 13, 1964 in Iowa City, Iowa a son of Marvin and Rosalie (Plunkett) Conger. He proudly served our country in the U.S. Air Force. He was united in marriage to Lisa Anderson on November 29, 1986. Tim was an alarm technician, working at various companies in the Quad Cities. Tim coached and refereed soccer for his children and grandson while they were growing up.  Tim was blessed to have friends who became family including the Card Club Family, the APA Pool League Family, and a childhood friend, Todd Strawhacker..

Those left to honor his memory are his wife, Lisa and their children, Lindsay (Justin) Ridgway and Travis Conger all of Davenport; grandchildren, Atlee, Zeke and Emery Ridgway; parents, Marvin (Judy) Conger, Davenport and Rosalie Conger, Weeping Water, Nebraska; siblings, Melissa (Gary) Blumer, Louisville, Nebraska, and Jordan Conger, Davenport; his mother-in-law, Barbara Anderson, Davenport, and numerous extended family and great friends.

He was preceded in death by his father-in-law, David Anderson.
