Tiffany Jo Scott

Tiffany Jo Scott, 48, of Davenport, Iowa passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, September 30, 2023, at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, Iowa City.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00pm, Tuesday, October 10, 2023 at Halligan-McCabe-DeVries Funeral Home with visitation being held from 10:00am until the time of the service.  Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery, Buffalo.  Memorials can be made to her family to help cover funeral costs. 

Tiffany was born on August 13, 1975 in Davenport, Iowa to Gerry Hastings. She was an only child. Tiffany had a spirit about her that made those around her feel welcome and praised. She was always the first to compliment someone and put them at ease. She was loving and accepting to all. 

Tiffany enjoyed the little things in life. She was caring, loving and one of the sweetest people. She was a giving friend and the most amazing mother. What she enjoyed most in life was being a mother, caring for her friends and family, taking care of her home. One of her favorite things to do was to sit in the sun and watch the hummingbirds. She found joy in making her house a home and loved all flowers, they made her happy every time she looked at them. 

Tiffany’s success in life can be measured by the amount of friends she collected along the way.

Those left to honor her memory include her daughters, Yasmine Scott and Jesslyn Woods; aunt Tammy Menezes (Tom Rich); uncles Randy Scott (Missy) and Ricky Scott; cousins Amber Scott, Romeo Lopez, Jake Menezes, Jesse Scott, Amanda Wheeler (Heath), Nate Wheeler, Olivia Wheeler, Sarah Scott, Kaydee Scott, Joe Sawyer, Josh Sawyer, Brandon Sawyer and Jody Hyslope.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents Cortez Scott, Bobbie Sue Ziel, Donald Ziel, mother Gerry Scott Hastings, aunts Pamela Scott and Beverly Poppe and uncle Rodney Scott.
