Thomas Paulsen

Thomas H. Paulsen, 67, a resident of Davenport, died Tuesday, October 9, 2018 at Lexington Square in Keokuk, Iowa.

Funeral services celebrating his life will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday, October 12, 2018 at Halligan McCabe DeVries Funeral Home in Davenport. Burial will be at Holy Family Cemetery in Davenport. Visitation will be from 12:30 p.m. – 1:30 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the family.

Tom was born February 4, 1951 in Davenport, the son of Vernon J. and Margaret V. (Haase) Paulsen.

Tom worked as a production group leader for Eagle Signal. He also delivered and serviced various kiddie rides at Eagle Food Stores. Tom enjoyed golfing, bowling, fishing, sudoku, watching old westerns on television, and Elvis.

Those left to honor his memory include his siblings, Jeanne M. Paulsen of Davenport and John “Jack” (Maxine) Paulsen of Gun Barrel City, Texas; niece and nephew, Melissa and Gary Paulsen; great nieces and nephews, and a great-great nephew; his companion of many years, Sandra Holt of Davenport, and her children, Becky Meeks of Buffalo, Brian Holt of Davenport, and Brenda (Brian) Gillespie of Davenport.

Tom was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother William “Bill” Paulsen.
