Teresa Kaye Gott was born August 23, 1958, in Davenport, Iowa, a daughter of Duane R. Gott and Beverly (Kennedy) Gott. She was united in marriage to Clifford Lovell on May 5, 2007.
She loved her husband more than anything. They never failed to make each other smile and laugh, even in the hardest of times. Their life together was everything they could’ve hoped for, surrounded by love and family. They enjoyed their time together living in Iowa and Cocoa Beach, Florida. Together for 30 years, Teresa and Cliff shared a strong, beautiful love.
Teresa loved to spend her time with family— she adored shopping with her sisters and mother. Eating out and sharing their favorite restaurants around town was something she enjoyed. Teresa loved being a mother and watching her children grow— Jamie and Tommy meant the world to her. She was so proud of the men they’d become.
When Teresa married Cliff, she gained four bonus children and became a Nana.
Teresa’s pride and joy were her grandkids. She would do anything for them and she showered them in love and the tightest hugs. Nothing could make her smile like her grandkids.
That beaming, beautiful smile lit up every room she walked into, and her laugh was sure to make your heart swell. Her words were full of passion, proudness, encouragement, love, and reason. Teresa’s sense of humor is something each person who loves her will carry with them.
Whether she were your daughter, sister, mother, wife, aunt, cousin, friend, or Nana, she was sure to take time to make you feel loved and appreciated.
