Teresa Casiano

Visitation will be Thursday, April 11, from 4 until 7 p.m. at the Halligan-McCabe-DeVries Funeral Home, Davenport. Funeral services and Mass of Catholic Burial for Teresa Casiano, 46, of Moline, will be 10 a.m. Friday, April 12, 2024 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Moline.  Burial will be in Moline Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to the family to establish a memorial at a later date. 

 On Saturday, April 6, 2024 heaven gained the most strongest beautiful angel. Teresa peacefully passed away at her home surrounded by her loved ones after a courageous battle with cancer. 

Teresa Casiano Quevedo Eleocadio was born on August 16, 1977 in Mexico, the daughter of Ruperto Quevedo and Sara Eleocadio. She was united in marriage to Victor Casiano on September 27, 1991 in Mexico and married in the communion of the Catholic Church on April 3, 2024 by Rev. Antonio Dittmer.

Teresa loved her family very much, she loved spending time with her children and made sure to give them the best life as she could and loved her time with her husband as they were childhood sweethearts. Teresa was the most beautiful, kindest, smartest, funniest and fearless woman. She had the purest heart and soul known to man. Always enjoyed helping people in need no matter what situation she was in. She alway lights up the room with her presence. She loved gardening and tending to her plants. She was very creative and loved decorating her home with her crafts. She also enjoyed shopping, taking road trips, and dining out when the opportunity arose with her loved ones. Those left to honor her memory are her husband, Victor; children: Leslie, Jessica, Victor, and Brian; her father, Ruperto Quevedo, and brother and sister-in-law, Antonio and Alma Quevedo.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Sara Quevedo

All friends and families are welcome to join in celebration of Teresa, who was and always will be a warrior.

El velorio será el Jueves, 11 de Abril de 4 a 7 p.m. en la funeraria Halligan-McCabe-DeVries, Davenport, Iowa. Los servicios funerarios y la misa de entierro católico para Teresa Casiano, de 46 años, de Moline, serán a las 10 am el Viernes,  12 de Abril de 2024, en la Iglesia Católica St. Mary en Moline. El entierro será en Moline Memorial Park. Se pueden hacer memoriales a la familia para establecer un memorial en una fecha posterior.

El sábado 6 de abril de 2024 el cielo ganó al hermoso ángel más fuerte. Teresa falleció tranquilamente en su casa rodeada de sus seres queridos después de una valiente batalla contra el cáncer. 

Teresa Casiano Quevedo Eleocadio nació el 16 de Agosto de 1977 en México, hija de Ruperto Quevedo y Sara Eleocadio. Se unió en matrimonio con Víctor Casiano el 27 de Septiembre de 1991 en México y se casó en la comunión de la Iglesia Católica el 3 de Abril de 2024 por el Rev. Antonio Dittmer. 

Teresa amaba mucho a su familia, le encantaba pasar tiempo con sus hijos y se aseguraba de darles la mejor vida posible y amaba el tiempo que pasaba con su esposo, ya que eran novios de la infancia. Teresa era la mujer más bella, amable, inteligente, divertida y valiente. Tenía el corazón y el alma más puros conocidos por el hombre. Siempre disfrutó ayudar a las personas necesitadas sin importar la situación en la que se encontrara. Ella siempre ilumina la habitación con su presencia. Le encantaba la jardinería y cuidar sus plantas. Era muy creativa y le encantaba decorar su casa con sus manualidades. También le gustaba ir de compras, pasear a nuevos lugares y salir cuando surgía la oportunidad con sus seres queridos. Quienes quedan para honrar su memoria son su marido, Víctor; hijos: Leslie, Jessica, Victor y Brian; su padre, Ruperto Quevedo, y su hermano y cuñada, Antonio y Alma Quevedo. 

Le precedió en la muerte de su madre, Sara Quevedo. 

Todos los amigos y familiares son bienvenidos a unirse a la celebración de Teresa, quien fue y será, una guerrera.
