Stuart Both

Stuart C. Both, 58, of Muscatine, formerly of Bettendorf, died Wednesday January 6, 2021th at his home.

Funeral Services and a Mass of Christian Burial for Stuart will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, January 23, 2021 at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church, Davenport. Visitation will be prior to mass from 9:00 am until service time at 10:00am.  Due to the current health crisis, masks must be worn and social distancing respected. Burial will be in Oakdale Memorial Gardens. Halligan-McCabe-Devries Funeral Home assisted his family.  Memorials may be made to the family.

Stuart Clifford Both was born May 20, 1962, in Nuremberg, Germany, the son of Kenneth and Shirley (Garrison) Both. He was a 1980 graduate of Pleasant Valley High School. He had been married to Laurie Brekke.

He had worked at the former Matthews Office Equipment and most recently at Hon Industries in Muscatine before retiring for health reasons. He was an avid Arizona Cardinals and Iowa Hawkeye fan.

He is survived by his children, Stephen (Mandie) Both, Beaumont, Texas, Kaitlyn (Michael) Mateos, Winchester, California and Ryan (Katie) Both, Davenport; his grandchildren; Austin, Van, Stevie, June, Serhenity, Christian, Noah and Atticus; his father, Kenneth (Robin) Both, Las Vegas, Nevada; his siblings; Judy Zelnio, Doug Both, Carol Steele and Sandy Cabage; and numerous loving extended family.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Shirley Both.
