Steven E. Pehowski, 62 of Bettendorf, IA passed away unexpectedly Friday, January 26, 2024, at Genesis - East Campus, Davenport. Memorial services and Mass of Christian Burial to celebrate the life of Steven will be held at 10am on Saturday, February 3, 2024, at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, Bettendorf. The rite of cremation has been accorded and inurnment will be at a later date. Visitation will take place on Friday February 2, 2024 from 4-6:30pm at the Halligan-McCabe-DeVries Funeral Home, Davenport, IA.
Steven Eugene Pehowski was born October 19, 1961, in Wausau, WI, the son of Eugene and Virginia (Gorski) Pehowski. He earned an Executive MBA from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He was united in marriage to Jamie Struif on November 19, 1994, in Godfrey, IL.
He worked for John Deere for 30 years and was the Director of Deere-Hitachi Operational Integration at the time of his retirement.
In his spare time, he enjoyed golfing, traveling, going to the beach, and most importantly, spending time with his family. He was a fan of the Carolina Panthers and the Clemson Tigers.
Those left to honor his memory include his wife Jamie Struif-Pehowski of Bettendorf; son Adam Pehowski of Bettendorf; daughter Jenna Pehowski of Fort Mill, SC; parents Eugene and Virginia Pehowski of Rockford, IL; sister Susan (Scott) Highland of St. Peters, MO; and nephew Gregory Highland of St. Louis, MO; brother-in-law Scott Struif of Springfield, OR; sister-in-law Susie (Lance) Bazzell of Godfrey, IL; brother-in-law Jeff (Missy) Struif of Godfrey, IL; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Memorials may be made to Our Lady of Lourdes or First Tee - Quad Cities.
