Steven Lusby

A Memorial gathering to celebrate the life of Steven W. Lusby, 63, of Blue Grass will be 1:00p.m. to 4:00p.m. Sunday, September 8, 2019 at Mayne St. Pub-N-Grub, 202 W. Mayne Street, Blue Grass.    Honoring his wishes the rite of cremation has been accorded. Halligan McCabe DeVries Funeral Home, Davenport assisted his family with arrangements. Memorials may be made to the family.

Steve passed away unexpectedly Monday, September 2, 2019 at his home in Blue Grass.

Steven Wayne Lusby was born November 4, 1955 in Moberly, Missouri, the son of Frank E. Jr. and Peggy G. (Calvin) Lusby,  He worked in landscaping for Jeff’s Landscaping Service, in Blue Grass.

In his younger years Steve was an avid Wrist Wrestler winning 3 World Champion Titles in his weight class.

Steve is survived by his sister, Sharon Rutherford, San Antonio, TX;  his nieces and nephew; Sherri Garrow, San Antonio, TX, Richie Rutherford, and Brandee Rutherford, both of Austin, TX; his great niece and nephew; Thomas Brown and Cassie Brown, San Antonio, TX as well as  his many friends and neighbors in Blue Grass.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and stepfather, Virgil B. Spicer.
