Sindi Reiling

Synthia Sue “Sindi” Reiling, 55, a resident of Davenport, died Sunday, January 1, 2023 after a battle with cancer.

Funeral services celebrating her life will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, January 5, 2023 at Halligan McCabe DeVries Funeral Home in Davenport. Burial will be at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be 4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 4^th at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to King’s Harvest Pet Rescue.

Sindi was born September 22, 1967 in Davenport, the daughter of Wayne and Mari (Foley) Reiling. She received her Bachelor of Nursing degree from the University of Iowa. Sindi worked as a nurse for Genesis Medical Center for over 30 years in labor and delivery and post-partum care.

Sindi enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and going shopping. She loved family game night. Sindi loved her job as a nurse and enjoyed training new nurses as they began their career.

Those left to honor her memory include her mother, Mari of Davenport; sisters, Kelli (Corey) Overturf, and Ami Reiling, both of Davenport; niece and nephews, Alex, Max, and Maggie Overturf; and her beloved dog, Rooney.

She was preceded in death by her father.
