Sharon Ann Behr

Funeral services and a Mass of Christian Burial for Sharon Ann Behr, 80, a resident of Davenport will be 11:00 am Saturday, December 31, 2022 at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church, 4105 N. Division Street, Davenport. Visitation will be prior to the service from 9:30 to 11:00 am at the church. Burial will be in Davenport Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to Our Lady of Victory. Halligan McCabe DeVries Funeral Home in Davenport is assisting the family with arrangements.

Sharon was born June 10, 1942 in Davenport, the daughter of James and Ann (Stoffers) Powers. She married Arthur Edward Behr, Jr., May 27, 1961 at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church. He preceded her in death, March 4, 2015.

Sharon worked as a secretary for Washington Elementary School in Davenport for 35 years. She enjoyed playing cards and was active in many card clubs. She also enjoyed sewing and cherished her time spent with her family.

Those left to honor her memory include her sons and daughters-in-law, Randy and Julie Behr, Marion, Iowa and Kevin and Wendy Behr, Arvada, Colorado; six grandchildren, Colin (Mia), Megan (Steve), Riley (Omar), Michael (Ashley), Joshua, and Abbey; great-grandchildren, Arthur, Sonny, Liam, Adeline, and Noah; and her sister, Kathy Lobdell of Milan, Illinois.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, and a sister, Patricia.
