Sally Ann Packard

Funeral services and Mass of Christian Burial for Sally Ann Packard, 87, of Minneapolis, MN, and formerly of Davenport, will be 10am Saturday, February 11, 2023, at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church, Davenport.  The Mass will be livestreamed and may be viewed at https://www.youtube.com/@StAnthonyCatholicChurch/streams. Burial will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Davenport.  Visitation will be from 8:30-9:30am on Saturday at Halligan-McCabe-DeVries Funeral Home, Davenport. 

Ms. Packard passed away Monday, February 6, 2023 at Providence Place, Minneapolis.

Sally was born June 17, 1935, in Davenport, a daughter of John James and Lucille Blanche (Shanley) Miclot.  She was united in marriage to Robert Packard in Minneapolis.

Prior to her retirement she had worked in labor relations for Red Owl, as legal secretary for attorney Bill Greiner, for our lady of peace catholic church, foster parent to many children, and after retirement she helped out with many charitable organizations.

Survivors include her sons, Randy Packard of Watertown, SD, and Jim Packard of Watertown, SD; sister, Suzanne “Sue” Epping of Davenport; a special friend, Donalda Brownson of Florida; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Gerald “Jerry” Miclot and sister Mary “Joanne” Bell.
