Roger was born on September 6, 1954, in Algona, Iowa, a son of Ralph and Virginia (Trenary) Dugan. He was united in marriage to Georgia Hahn on July 24, 1976, at First Presbyterian, Davenport. Together, they had two boys, Chad and Kenny. Roger worked at John Deere for 9 ½ years before he began a long career at Sears Manufacturing, where he retired. Roger was a hard worker and very frugal, in fact, he still had the first dollar he made as a paper boy as a child.
Roger loved the outdoors and had a passion for duck hunting, fishing, camping, and gardening. In his younger years he belonged to Ducks Unlimited and enjoyed coaching Little League. He was also a fan of Hawkeye athletics.
Those left to honor his memory include his loving wife of 49 years, Georgia; son Kenny (Jen); grandson, Cameron; siblings: Richard (Trudy) Dugan and Barbara Bauer, brothers-in-law Marlin White, Charles Stroud, Walt (Traci) Hahn and Jerry Rangel, special family Jerry (Erika) Cox and their children, CJ and Willow, and many nieces and nephews.
Roger was preceded in death by his son, Chad, his parents, and brothers, Eugene and Royce Dugan and a great-niece, Shantrese.
