Randy D. Woolison

Randy Dean Woolison, 71, of Davenport died Saturday, November 2, 2024, surrounded by family. Per his wish the rite of cremation will be accorded, and services will be held privately. Halligan-McCabe-DeVries Funeral Home, Davenport, is assisting the family.

Randy D. Woolison was born on December 17, 1952, in Davenport, son of Arthur Woolison and Shirley (Syring) Woolison. He was united in marriage to Deborha Anderson on September 14, 1969, at Calvary United Methodist Church in Walcott, IA. 

Randy was a truck driver for Quest Liner until he retired. 

Before his wife passed, Randy enjoyed spending his retirement with Deborha going on day trips. They were both known for their love of animals. When at home, Randy enjoyed watching football and was a Bears fan, and whenever he could get out of the house, he loved to go canoeing and camping. Randy will be fondly remembered by his loved ones as being the life of the party.

Those left to honor his memory are his children, Cheryl (Tim) Chapman of Davenport, IA, and Kim (Leah) Woolison of Louisville, KY; grandchildren: Zach, Arielle, Austen, Tyler, Alana, and Eva; great-grandchildren: Elias, Rydian, and Cooper; and his brothers: Dan (“BJ”) Woolison, and Terry (Denise) Woolison.

He was joyfully welcomed home by his wife, parents, and parents-in-law.
