Peggy A. Busch

Peggy A. Busch, 68, a resident of Davenport, died Thursday, April 20, 2023 at UnityPoint Trinity Rock Island.

A Memorial Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, April 25, 2023 at Holy Family Catholic Church in Davenport. Burial will be at Rock Island National Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the Mass at church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Discovery Shop in Bettendorf. Halligan McCabe DeVries Funeral Home in Davenport is assisting the family.

Peggy was born January 9. 1955 in Savanna, Illinois, the daughter of Milo and Jeanne (Biesmann) Meier. She married Larry Busch, September 6, 1991 in Davenport.

Peggy was a cosmetologist, working at Queen’s Parlour in Moline for over 40 years. She enjoyed thrift store shopping, watching golf and the Iowa Hawkeyes, and her flowers. She was an excellent decorator and loved to make people look good and feel happy.

Those left to honor her memory include her husband, Larry; sons, Larry (Nancy) Busch, Jr. of Anthem, Arizona, and David (Cadry Nelson) Busch of Iowa City; grandchildren, Lawson, Connor, and Dayton; sister, Nancy (LTC (Ret) Mike) Buchieri of Jonesboro, Georgia; nephews, Joseph (Gabrielle) Buchieri and Justin (Heidi Miles) Holliday; great niece and nephews, Jhemma Holliday, Bradley Johnson, Jaxyn Helm, and Abel Miles.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Mary Jo Meier; and niece, Nicole Buchieri.
