Paul "Bubba" Joseph Adamson

Paul “Bubba” Adamson, 54, of Davenport passed away, Sunday, October 22, 2023 at Mercy Hospital, Iowa City. 

A Celebration of Life will be held on, Wednesday, December 6, 2023 at Mac's Tavern, Davenport.

Per his wishes cremation rights have taken place.  Memorials may be made to the family.

Paul was born on December 6, 1968 the son of Greg Adamson and Kathy Sebastian. He married the love of his life Melissa Ranes on September 4, 2005.

Paul had a smile that could light up a room.  He had a spark about him and was larger than life.  He was a very kind man and was very giving to those in need.  Paul had a sense of humor and loved dad jokes.  He was charismatic and a charmer with a smile that could light up a room.  He had worked as a writer for the Quad City Times and the River City Reader.  He had also worked at Hooters for a number of years.  Paul loved music, was a loyal PsychoStick fan and a self proclaimed air guitar master.  He had acted in his brothers zombie movies, Dead of Winter and Spring Fever.  Above all he was an avid Chicago Cubs and Minnesota Vikings Fan. 

Those left to honor his memory include his parents Greg Adamson and Kathy Sebastian; siblings Chris McElyea and Jennifer (Shawn) Reimers; wife Missy Adamson; nephew and nieces Justin Allen, Taija Allen and Jayden Heiser; and great nephew's and nieces Nolan, Amelia, Aria and Jakobi.

He was preceded in death by his grandmother that he loved very much.
