Patsy Woodworth

Patsy Woodworth, 84, of Davenport, passed away Friday, March 7, 2025, at the Clarissa Cook Hospice House, Bettendorf, and cremation has been accorded through Halligan-McCabe-DeVries Funeral Home, Davenport.

Patsy Ann Newton was born August 4, 1940, in Muscatine, a daughter of Elmer and Vivian (Leatherman) Newton. She was united in marriage to Gary Woodworth on November 29, 1958, and he preceded her in death on November 17, 2015.

Prior to her retirement she worked for several restaurants, primarily at Maid Rite.

Patsy was meticulous and enjoyed cleaning, gardening, cooking for people, going to concerts, and spending time with her family and friends. She also enjoyed traveling with Gary to the UK, Germany, Jamaica, Hawaii, and road trips across the USA, as well as many bus trips with her friends at CASI.

Survivors include her children Michael Woodworth of Davenport, Kimberly (Jay) Keel of Irrigon, OR, Scott Woodworth of Hailey, ID, Christopher Woodworth of Umatilla, OR, Jeff Woodworth of Davenport; grandchildren Nathaniel Juhl, Jennifer Woodworth, Josh Woodworth, Daniel Woodworth, Jane Woodworth; four great grandchildren; best friend Donetta Klemme; siblings Ernie Newton, Carrie Miller, Judy Strause, David Newton, Tim Newton, Lisa Hargrave, and Melodie Grandinetti.

Additionally, she was preceded in death by brothers Harold and Ronald, and sisters Wendy Cozad and Jolie Thorndyke.
