Patricia Johnson

Patricia J. Johnson, age 75, of East Moline, passed away on Tuesday, October 4, 2022 at Unity Point-Trinity Rock Island. Graveside services will be held at 10:30 AM, Tuesday, October 11, 2022 at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 7:00 PM Monday, October 10, 2022 at Halligan-McCabe-DeVries Funeral Home.

Patricia was born on December 31, 1946 in Davenport to Charles and Phyllis (Farus) Fanning. She graduated with a business degree from Blackhawk College. Patricia was united in marriage to Russell Johnson on May 2, 1992. Patricia worked for 26 years as the paymaster for the Service Rubber Company and then for 12 years at Blackhawk Foundation in Geneseo where she retired.

Patricia was a 30-year member of the Mini Makers and served as their treasurer. She was also a member of NAME (National Association of Miniature Enthusiasts) since 1992 and was their treasurer from 2006 – 2010. She also was the Regional Name Ambassador in 2007. Patricia won several awards for her miniatures at the Festival of Trees as well as the Iowa State Fair.

Survivors include her husband, Russell; children, James Davis, and Lisa Nussbaum; and 4 grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Ricky; and brothers, Ron Fanning and Michael Fanning.
