Funeral Services and a Mass of Christian Burial for Patricia A. “Pat” Erickson, 79, of Davenport will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, February 6, 2018 At St. Anthony Catholic Church, Davenport. Burial will be in St. Ann’s Cemetery, Long Grove. Visitation will be Monday from 4:00p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Halligan-McCabe-DeVries Funeral Home, Davenport, where a prayer service will be held at 6:30p.m. Pat passed away Friday, February 2, 2018 at the Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House, Bettendorf, Iowa.
Patricia Ann Spiess was born February 2, 1939 in Davenport, a daughter of Joseph and Veronica (Murphy) Spiess. She was a 57 graduate of I.CA. Pat was united in marriage to Keith Erickson July 5, 1958 at St. Anthony’s Church, Davenport.
She had retired as the Food Service Director for the Pleasant Valley School System and then volunteered with many organizations including, the Diocese of Davenport, and helping to coordinate vehicles for the Halligan-McCabe-DeVries Funeral Home as well as others in the area.
She was an active parishioner at St. Anthony’s and enjoyed, spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Memorials may be made for masses and or St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
Those left to honor her memory include her husband of 59 years, Keith and their children, Brian Erickson, Davenport, Colleen (Tom) Maxwell, Reynolds, IL and Todd (Kathy) Erickson, Davenport; five grandchildren; Ryan (Courtney) Maxwell, Johnston, IA, Jacob (Sydney) Maxwell, Reynolds, IL, Brandon Erickson, Davenport, Amber (Carl) Brown, Maumelle, Arkansas, and Katie (Josh) Brightwell, Independence, MO; 6 great grandchildren; Brody, Addisyn, Reese, Ryleigh, Luna and Oliver; her brother-in-laws; Mark (Barb) Erickson, and Tom Erickson, all of Davenport. She was preceded in death by her parents.
