Patricia Ann Bender

A Traditional Roman Catholic Funeral Mass for Patricia Bender, 82, of Park View, will be held at 10 am on Saturday, May 18, 2024, at the Halligan-McCabe-DeVries Funeral Home, Davenport.  Burial will be in Davenport Memorial Park.  Visitation will be from 4-7 pm on Friday at the funeral home with a Rosary at 4 pm. Memorials may be made to the Daughters of Mary or the Humility of Mary Roman Catholic Church.

Miss Bender passed away Thursday, May 9, 2024, at Genesis East, Davenport.

Patricia Ann Bender was born November 1, 1941, in Fairfield, IA, a daughter of Harold and Marjorie (Campbell) Bender.  She graduated from Assumption High School in 1959, its inaugural class.  She then graduated from the former St. Anthony School of Nursing.

Prior to her retirement she had been a nurse at the former Mercy Hospital and branch manager for Examination Management Services Inc.

Survivors include her sister Marjorie K. Bender of Park View; seven nephews; several great nieces and nephews; and many cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents and sisters Rosalie Thede and Carolyn Pfannenstiel.
