Patricia Coleman

Patricia A. “Pat” Coleman, 92, of Bettendorf, formerly a longtime resident of Davenport, Iowa, died Friday, November 12, 2021, at Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House, Bettendorf.

Funeral services and a Mass of Christian Burial for Pat will be 10:30 a.m., Thursday November 18, 2021, at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church, Davenport. Her family will greet friends at church, prior to Mass from 9:00 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. Burial will be in National Cemetery, Rock Island Arsenal. Patricia Ann McCabe was born on December 12, 1928, on the family farm in Sioux County, Iowa a daughter of Matthew P. and Elizabeth G. (Lucey) McCabe.  She was united in marriage to Robert J. Coleman, April 25, 1949. He preceded her in death December 9, 1992.

Pat had been an active parishioner at Holy Family Catholic Church and St. Anthony’s. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Her greatest joy in life was spending time with her family.

Memorials may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital or St. Anthony’s Window.

Survivors include her children: Mick (Kathy) Coleman, Burnsville, Minnesota, Maureen Bennett, Moline, Molly (Bill) Dankbar, Bloomington, Minnesota, Marty (Melanie) Coleman, Davenport, Matt (Amy) Coleman, Pleasant Valley, her daughter-in-law, Carol Coleman, Sequim, Washington and a sister-in-law, Doreen McCabe, Milford, Iowa; 18 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren: and numerous loving nieces, nephews, and extended family.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Bob, daughter, Mary Coleman Meyer, son, Mark, son-in-law, Bob Bennett and her siblings; Matthew, Lucille O’Kane, Kathryn Lenoch, John and Charles.
