Pamela Samara

Funeral Services for Pamela J. Samara, 66, a resident of Eldridge, will be 1pm Tuesday, January 18, 2022, at Halligan-McCabe-DeVries Funeral Home, downtown Davenport. Burial will be in National Cemetery, Rock Island, Illinois. The family will greet friends Tuesday from 12 noon until the time of the service at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the family. Pamela passed away Wednesday, January 12, 2022, at Genesis Medical Center, East Rusholme, surrounded by her family.

Pamela Jean Theobald was born February 2, 1955, in Peoria, Illinois, a daughter of Lawrence and Mavis (Carr) Theobald. Pamela married Salem S. Samara, II on June 23, 1973. They celebrated 39 years of marriage. Salem preceded Pamela in death on May 7, 2012.

Pamela worked as a telemarketer and customer service representative for Alorica. She enjoyed crossword puzzles, watching TV and movies, holiday decorating, reading, and spending time with her family.

Those left to honor Pamela’s memory include her children:  Samuel (Jennifer) Samara, III, Eldridge; Teri (Oliver) King, Hudson, Wisconsin; Jeremy Samara, Eldridge; grandchildren:  Elizabeth, Victoria, Benjamin, Courtney, Kaleb, Skye, Hailey; great-grandchildren: Odin and Anora; sister, Barb Ehrenhart. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Salem; sister, Janet; and brother, Lawrence.
