Pamela J. Davis, age 73, of Davenport, passed away on March 18, 2024, at Genesis Medical Center, East Campus. Private services will be held at Sacred Heart Cathedral, Davenport.
Pamela was born on April 24, 1950, in Davenport to Ernest and Bernice (Price) Burke. Beloved Wife of Robert Davis, they united in marriage on June 16, 1967, forging a bond that endured the test of time. She was a graduate of Assumption High School and attended University of Iowa and St. Ambrose University.
Pamela was an advocate for civil rights and the power of education. She believed in speaking her mind and loved to talk, debate, and share stories. Her compassionate nature touched the lives of many. A woman of many talents, Pamela found joy in taking care of her family and friends. Her culinary skills were legendary, and her creative spirit was on full display through her passion for quilting, sewing, designing clothes and costumes. She also loved animals, history, antiquing and her extensive collection of fashion. Pamela lived life to the fullest and enjoyed traveling and experiencing other cultures. Though Pamela has departed from this world, her legacy will continue to live on in the hearts of those she touched. She will be dearly missed by her husband, family, and friends.
