Novella Trice

Novella LaChonn Trice, age 51, of Hiram, GA, passed away on Sunday, June 7, 2020 at Wellstar Paulding Hospital.

Funeral services celebrating her life will be held at 12:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 17, 2020 at Halligan McCabe DeVries Funeral Home in Davenport. Burial will be at Oakdale Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Those attending are asked to practice social distancing and wear a face mask. She was born on February 26, 1969 in Iowa City, IA to her parents; Sylvester Trotter and Novella "Bryant" Trice Greene. Ms. Trice worked as an office assistant for Antom Remodeling and had also worked as a weekend manager at Creekside Pines Retirement Community. She was a member of Bethel African Methodist Episcopal Church in Davenport, IA. Novella was a loving mother, daughter, sister, and friend who will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. She was preceded in death by her father, Sylvester Trotter, and her brother, Bruce Dwayne Greene.

Survivors include her mother, Novella "Bryant" Trice Greene of Hiram, GA, son, Quincy Leon Jones III of Hiram, GA, daughter, Mikayla Noel Jones of Hiram, GA, brother, Tremere Charles Trice of Hiram, GA, sister in love, Lisa Upshaw of Peachtree City, GA, and a life time friend, Quincy Leon Jones Jr of VA, as well as a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, cousins, and friends.
