Nancy Bernadette Crummy was born on March 4, 1945 in Rock Island, a daughter of Leo and Jane (Allen) Crummy. She graduated from Black Hawk College and worked for Modern Woodmen of America before staying at home to raise her twin daughters, Jennifer and Stephanie.
Nancy was united in marriage to Edward J. Michur on May 16, 1970 at St. John Catholic Church, Viola, Illinois. They have shared over 54 years of marriage, memories, and laughs together.
Nancy cherished her family. She had a wonderful sense of humor and enjoyed visiting with her many groups including her mahjong group, her weekly coffee group and her “trivia” group that turned into wine group! In her younger years, she enjoyed horseback riding and was able to travel with Ed including trips to China and Europe.
Those left to honor her memory are her husband, Ed, daughters and sons-in-law, Jennifer (Kevin) Behncke and Stephanie (Chris) Fowler, all of Blue Grass; grandchildren: Brayden, Briann, Gavin, and Addison; siblings: Sonja (Max) Jones, Teresa (Steve) Mason, and Jeff (Darlene) Crummy, and many nieces and nephews.
Nancy was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Mike Crummy. May they rest in peace.
