Milton Edward Roeder, Jr., 70, of Davenport, passed away, Thursday, December 22, 2022 at Genesis East Medical Center.
Per his wishes cremation rites have been accorded.
Milton was born on March 1, 1952 in Moline, Illinois, son of Milton Edward and Betty (Carr) Roeder, Sr. He was united in marriage to Beth Sebastian on January 13, 1987.
Milton was a Bar Manager at Lucy’s Lounge in the Davenport Holiday Inn and later the General Manager at Boozie’s for 17 years before his retirement. He was the best bartender around and made the best long island iced teas and margaritas. Milton was a hard worker and was always there to help if needed. He was always entertaining and would make his family laugh with his funny jokes. He enjoyed country music and had taken many drives to Nashville with his family when he was younger. He was lucky enough to have met Conway Twitty, Loretta Lynn, and The Statler Brothers. Above all he loved his family and his friends.
Those left to honor his memory include his wife, Beth; children, Allison, Stephanie, Melissa, Sara (Harold Benson), and William and his wife Erin; grandchildren, Kemper, Cooper, and Conner; and sister Mary Fish.
He was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, Edward and Evelyn Roeder, and aunts Bernice Fox and Dorothy Lester.
