Maureen V. Fay

Maureen V. Fay, age 62, of Davenport, passed away on Tuesday, February 7, 2023 at Unity Point Trinity-Bettendorf. A celebration of her life and her brother, Eddie who passed away in January, will be at Chuck’s Tap, 1731 W. 6^th Street, Davenport from 3 until 6 p.m. Saturday, February 25, 2023. Halligan-McCabe-DeVries assisted the family with arrangements.

Maureen was born on November 19, 1960 in Davenport to Stephen and Mary (Sullivan) Edwards. She was an avid fan of the St. Louis Cardinals and Minnesota Vikings. She also loved listening to Johnny Cash. 

Maureen is survived by sons, James Duncan and David Fay; 4 grandchildren; siblings, Elizabeth McFarland, Kevin (Tamara) Edwards, Vince (Jennifer) Edwards, and Alice Edwards; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by siblings, Robert Edwards, Frances Edwards, and Madelaine Edwards; and a nephew, Matthew Edwards.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Unity Point, Bettendorf for their amazing care and she loved you all more than the whole universe.
