Matthew Perkins

Matthew Lloyd Wayne Perkins, 41, of Davenport, Iowa, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, February 16, 2023 at his home. Memorial services will be held at 12:00pm, Tuesday, February 21, 2021 at Halligan-McCabe-DeVries Funeral Home.  Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home beginning at 11:00am.  Memorials may be made to his family. Matthew was born on January 6, 1982, son of Elmer and Gail (Stewart) Perkins.  He was united in marriage to Jacqueline “Jacqe” Erickson on August 3, 2023. He was like a big kid and enjoyed nerf gun fights, Lightsaber wars, driving rc cars, and playing video games with his son.  He was an antagonist and at one point or anther he has probably pissed you off. Above all he was a loving father, husband and son who will be greatly missed! Those left to honor his memory include his wife, Jacqe; son Xander; aunts; uncles; and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents.
