Mary Molly Rotherham

Mary Molly Rotherham, 71, a resident of Davenport, died Friday, October 21, 2022 at Good Samaritan Society in Davenport after an extended illness.

A memorial service celebrating her life will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, October 28, 2022 at Halligan McCabe DeVries Funeral Home in Davenport. Burial will be at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be 10:00 am -11:00 a.m. Friday. Memorials may be made to the family.

Molly was born January 14, 1951 in Iowa City, the daughter of George Glenn and Mary Pat (Kelly) Rotherham. She married Robert D. Winckler, April 15, 1972. They later divorced.

Molly worked as a childcare provider at childcare facilities. She loved children and enjoyed shopping, decorating, cooking, and entertaining. Her pride and joy was her son, Dylan.  

Those left to honor her memory include her son, Dylan Winckler of Chicago, Illinois; siblings, Thomas (Shari) Rotherham of Phoenix, Arizona, Kit (Steve) Curlee of Blairsville, Georgia, Betsy (Tony) Ray of West Des Moines, Iowa, and Maggie (Rob) Avon of Davenport; nieces and nephews, Zachary, Nick, Megan, Paul, Colleen, and Annie; and 12 great-nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
