Mary E. Alliston, 52, of Davenport, died Wednesday, October 12, 2022 at Genesis East, Davenport following a courageous battle with cancer. God took her children’s first love of their life but they don’t blame Him because He knew she was suffering. She was the perfect, sweetest, loving mother her kids could ask for. She will be forever loved and missed but always there if her kids need, watching down on them.
Funeral services to celebrate her life will Sunday at 2:30 p.m. at Grace Bible Church, Moline.
Halligan-McCabe-DeVries Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
Mary Elizabeth Miller was born on January 24, 1970 in Metropolis, Illinois, a daughter of Donald Ray and Mary Ellen (Black) Miller.
She is survived by her children: Thomas Joseph Little (Sydnee Little), Andrew Voorhis (Sarah Clement), Aaron Voorhis (Jacklyn Gillespie), and Alicia Voorhis; grandchildren: Ean Little, Layla Meyers, Kayman Little, Asher Voorhis, Axle Voorhis, Lillie Studer, Toby Voorhis, Jordan Voorhis, Xavier Voorhis, Andres Voorhis, and a baby girl on the way, William Teeter, Ariah Medrano, and Myra Sergura; her father, William Mcguire, brothers, Charles Jones, Mark (Lisa) Miller, Ricky (Tami) Miller, Jonathon Jones, a sister Holly (Shane) Huber and her children’s fathers, Dewayne Little and Fred Voorhis.
She was preceded in death by her loving mother, Mary Hobbs, brother Richard “Richie” Jones, grandparents, Daniel and Opal Black, aunts Deanna Miller and Sharon Webster.
