Funeral Services and a Mass of Christian Burial for Mark D. Lyons, 18, of Denver, Colorado formerly of Davenport will be 10:00 a.m., Thursday, November 30, 2017 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 515 Fillmore Street, Davenport. Burial will be in Oakdale Memorial Gardens, Davenport. Visitation will be Wednesday from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the Halligan-McCabe-DeVries Funeral Home 614 Main Street, downtown Davenport, where a prayer service will be held at 6:30 p.m. Mark passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, November 21, 2017 in Denver, Colorado.

Mark Daniel Lyons was born January 11, 1999 in Rock Island a son of David and Jackie (Martinez) Lyons. He had a huge heart for all, with a special place for his Grandma Lyons, and an infectious smile. He loved the outdoors, all animals, and keeping busy. Family meant everything to him. He was a loving son, brother, and uncle. He will be missed by everyone whose life he touched.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to his family.

He is survived by his parents David and Jackie and siblings; Gerard (Lindsay) Lyons, Jacqueline (Matt) Soenksen , Chelsea (Sam) Zeller, Edward Joseph Lyons III, Michael-Thomas Lyons, Matthew Lyons, Paul Lyons, Anna-Marie (Alex) Westmoreland, Eileen Lyons, and Patrick Lyons; nieces and nephews, James Zeller, Emmalynn and Abigail Soenksen, Melody and Roman Westmoreland, Gerard Lyons, Edward Joseph Lyons IIII and Oliver Lyons, and Cooper Lyons; his grandma Barbara Lyons; numerous loving aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Edward Joseph Lyons the II, Juan and Irene Martinez and his faithful pup Das.
