Spending time with family and friends in Galena was another one of Marianne’s joys.

Marianne set an incredible precedent for her family in her approach to life. A selfless, kind, and gentle soul; the memory of her tremendous heart will never be forgotten. The family will preserve the legacy of our beloved Wife, Mother, Grandmother, and Great Grandmother through following her example in life. We will draw upon her gift of creating a genuine connection with others and carefully nurturing every relationship to create a unique bond. To Marianne, every one she loved had a special place in her heart. We will listen to others with intent and compassion. Putting other before ourselves. Above all else we will value family as the greatest gift we can ever receive. We will keep our traditions, recall all our favorite stories, and continue making memories together. Her memory will carry on in so many ways. In our minds. In our hearts. Through our actions. You will always be with us. We love you forever and always, Marianne Weis.
