Mabel Imogene Erbst, 91, of Davenport, formerly of Buffalo, died Wednesday, February 23, 2022 at Genesis Medical Center, East Rusholme Campus, Davenport. Funeral services to celebrate her life will be 1 p.m. March 1, 2022 at Halligan-McCabe-DeVries Funeral Home, Davenport. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery, Buffalo. Visitation will be held from 12p.m. until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Good Samaritan Society.
Mabel Imogene Erbst was born on September 2, 1930 in Davenport, and was the daughter of Joe and Bertha Irene (Sours) Daniels. She was united in marriage to Lawrence Erbst on October 11, 1946. He preceded her in death in July of 1986.
She adored her grandchildren and the time they spent together. Imogene was an animal lover and always had dogs around during her lifetime. She also enjoyed “occasional” trips to the casino and playing bingo.
Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Terry and Cindi Erbst, Blue Grass; grandchildren: Angie (Jesse) Ramirez, Brad (fiancée Amanda Leopard) Erbst, Michele (Joe) De La Rosa, Craig and Bobbi Erbst, and Diana, Crystal, Jennifer and Carey; also great-grandchildren: Alexis, Gabbi, Lindy, Mason, Braedon, Jessica, Alex and Micaela; and other extended family.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, sons: Jerry Erbst and Lawrence Erbst, Jr., and a grandson, Lawrence Erbst III.
The family would like to thank everyone at Good Samaritan for the loving and compassionate care shown to Mabel Imogene these past 3 ½ years as well as the nurses and C.N.A. at Genesis East 4th Floor.
