Lupe Zamora

Lupe J. Zamora, 86, of Davenport, passed away Sunday, December 5, 2021 at her home with her family by her side.  Per her wish the rite of cremation will be accorded and services held at a later date.

Lupe Joyce Beuri was born January 14, 1935 in Bettendorf, a daughter of Michael Navarro and Maddie Mae Beuri.   She was united in marriage to Albert Zamora on August 22, 1992 in Davenport and he preceded her in death on November 29, 2016.

She was a homemaker loved being a mother to not only her children, but to other kids as well.  She volunteered for afterschool programs and was a Cub Scout and Blue Bird leader.

In her spare time, she loved to play Rummy and Solitaire and enjoyed listening to Freddy Fender and Johnny Cash.

Those left to honor her memory include her daughters Lupe Reyes of Davenport, Sherry Hayes of Rock Island, Tina (Jeremy) Woods of Davenport; son Timothy Reyes, Sr of Davenport; grandchildren Timothy Reyes Jr, Brandon Reyes, Nicole Reyes, Matthew Reyes, Amanda Reyes, Jackson Reyes, Jasmine Reyes, Kyle Woods, Dillon Woods Sr, Logan Reyes, Devon Reyes, Aaliyah Jackson, Elijah Hayes; great grandchildren Ricky Reyes, Treyvion Reyes, Leo Reyes, Dillon Woods Jr, Jerry Reyes; bonus daughters Karla Kosgard of Davenport and Elizabeth Jackson of Rock Island.

In addition to her husband Albert, she was preceded in death by two grandchildren and her eleven brothers and sisters.  May they rest in peace.
