Lorraine Lintz

Private funeral services to celebrate the life of Lorraine A. Lintz, 84, of Davenport, were held at our Lady of Victory Catholic Church, Davenport.  Burial was in Holy Trinity Catholic Cemetery in Richmond, Iowa. Lorraine died Tuesday, April 7, 2020 at Bickford Cottage, Davenport.  Arrangements were entrusted to Halligan-McCabe-DeVries Funeral Home, Davenport.

Lorraine Ann Libenguth was born April 12, 1935, in Riverside, Iowa a daughter of Frank and Clara (Kucera) Libenguth. She was a graduate of St. Mary’s High School in Riverside. She was united in marriage to Mark Lintz September 18, 1969, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Riverside.

Lorraine had been the office manager at the Radiation Therapy Center of the Quad Cities, for Dr. Ferita Rajput, retiring officially in October of 2019, after over 32 years of service. She loved her job and the people she worked with.  She was an avid gardener, enjoyed going to the Casino and attending the Iowa football games with Mark.

Those left to cherish her memory include her loving husband of over 50 years, Mark of Davenport; her niece, Kim Libenguth, San Diego, California; as well as numerous other loving extended family and great friends, Gary and Sandi York of Davenport.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and three brothers, Robert, Arthur and Louis Libenguth.
