Logan A. Reyes

Logan Alexzander Reyes, 24, of Davenport, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, February 25, 2025, at MercyOne-Genesis Illinois, Silvis, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

A public funeral service to celebrate Logan’s life will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, March 4, 2025, at the Halligan-McCabe-DeVries Funeral Home, Davenport. Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. until the time of the service Tuesday at the funeral home. Following services, cremation rites will take place. Memorials may be made to the family (there are two go fund me accounts on Meika Thomas and Devon Reyes Facebook pages).

Logan Alexzander Reyes was born on June 1, 2000, in Davenport, a son of Tina Reyes and Absalom Jacob Walker. He attended Williams Junior High School and Davenport West High School, where he excelled at football and would later join the QC Night Hawks, a semi-professional team, as a Wide Receiver and Cornerback. 

Logan worked with several different roofing companies based in the Quad Cities, along with traveling many miles to work far from home. Logan had a great faith and believed his body was a temple. He worked out daily at Top Shape Gym and was always eating healthy, caring for himself. He had a great sense of humor. He loved to play football with his team, QC NightHawks, and enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his nephew, Dillon, with whom he had a special bond. Logan also adored his feline companion, Mojo and his favorite color was purple.

 Those left to honor his memory are his parents, Tina (Jeremy) Reyes-Woods and Absalom Jacob Walker; siblings: Kyle Reyes-Woods, Chelsecy (Ryan) Jones, Dillon Reyes-Woods, Devon Reyes, Blake Walker; grandparents, Deborah Circello, Sue Woods(The Whole Woodpile); great-grandfather Buster Albertson; bonus grandma, Denise "Herdez" Jensen, aunts and uncles: Lupe Reyes, Sherry Reyes, Shyanne (Kevin) Foreman and Justin Walker; many cousins(close in age); Yasmine, Justine, Aaliyah, Elijah, Isiah, Meika (Nick) Thomas; a special nephew, Dillon and nieces Tilly, Milly, & Gracie. 

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Lupe and Albert Zamora, Ray Woods, Tiffany Scott, Steve Steverson, and Richard Walker, and an uncle, Michael Woods. May they rest in peace.
