Lisa K. Lester, 62 of Kansas City, Missouri, formerly of Davenport, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, May 4, 2021 at her home.
A memorial visitation to celebrate her life will be from 4:00p.m. until 6:00p.m., Tuesday, May 11, 2021 at Halligan-McCabe-DeVries Funeral Home, downtown Davenport. Due to the pandemic, masks must be worn, and social distance maintained. Per her wishes, the rite of cremation has been accorded and there will be no other services. Memorials may be made to Kings Harvest Pet Rescue No Kill Shelter, Davenport.
Lisa K. Gordon was born February 6, 1959 in Davenport the daughter of Richard and Patricia (Hatfield) Gordon. She graduated from Central High School, 1977. She was united in marriage to Timothy Lester, May 20, 1989 in Davenport.
Lisa was such a stylish lady. She had a passion for art and beauty. Whether it was in her personal style or the way she would make every home she lived in beautiful. Her flair for decorating and fashion were exquisite.
Those left to honor Lisa’s memory include her loving husband of over 33 years, Tim: a sister; Rae Ann Lyons, Davenport, two nieces; Lynn Appelby and Stacy Walker and her two grand-nephews; Trentan and Richie; her second mother, June Ales, Bettendorf, lifelong beloved friend Julie (Parsons) Rodriguez, as well as numerous loving extended family and great friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, Teena Gordon and her beloved fur baby, Sadie Lee.
