Leo Huber

November 1, 1940 — December 11, 2018

Leo John Huber, 78, of Davenport, died Tuesday, December 11, 2018 at his home.  Leo lost a long battle with Amyloidosis TTR.

Leo is survived by his wife, Jane; children, Dean (Claudia) Huber, Lori (James) Garrard, Jan Huber and Dan Huber; grandchildren, Amanda (Ernesto) Serrano and Julia Huber, Zachary and Ava Garrard; great-grandchildren, Isabel, Samantha, Alexander; and step-great-grandchild, Karen Serrano.

Leo enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing, carpentry, gardening, grandchildren and playing cards with friends and family.  He also enjoyed watching football and baseball with his neighbor, Jim and his dog, CoCo.  Leo enjoyed working in accounting for over 40 years, working for various Fortune 500 companies, including Northrop Grumman, Union Carbide, Uniroyal, Hagie Manufacturing and Kabota Tractor.

A Celebration of Life Mass will be held at 10:30am Monday, December 17, 2018 at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church in Davenport.  Visitation will be from 9:00am until 10:30am.  Burial will be held on Tuesday, December 18th at St. John’s Cemetery in Fort Atkinson, Iowa.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be given to the OLV Foundation or to the family.  Halligan-McCabe-DeVries Funeral Home in Davenport is assisting the family with arrangements.

Leo is preceded in death by his son, Dale Huber (infant twin brother to Dean); his parents, Phillip and Eleanor Huber and sister, Bernice Buchheit.
