LaTroy Lewis

Funeral services celebrating the life of LaTroy Lewis, 16, of Haltom City, TX, formerly of Davenport, will be 11am Monday, July 12, 2021 at Halligan-McCabe-DeVries Funeral Home, Davenport.  Burial will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Davenport.  Visitation will be from 10am until time of service at the funeral home.  Memorials may be made to the family.

LaTroy passed away unexpectedly on June 16, 2021 at Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital, Ft. Worth, TX.

LaTroy Sontrell Lewis was born September 12, 2004 in Davenport, the son of Serena Smith and Sonny Lewis.

He was a very loving, sweet, kind, and charming young man who enjoyed spending time with his brother, family, friends, going on adventures and traveling, playing basketball and football

LaTroy was a loyal son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin and friend.  Those left to honor his memory include his mother, Serena Smith; brother and best friend, LaTaylin Lewis; mother Tenesha Allen; grandmother, Mary Castel; aunts Lita Serrano, Koresa Serrano, and Winnie Pena; uncle Justin Serrano, and many cousins he loved and adored.

He was preceded in death by his father, grandfather Gary Castel, and uncle, Troy Smith.
