Larry Lang

Larry Lang, age 70, of Davenport, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, December 15, 2023, at his home. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 am, Saturday, December 30, 2023, at St. Mark’s Anglican Church, Silvis. The family will greet friends from 10:00 am until the time of service at the church. Halligan-McCabe -DeVries Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements. Larry was born on July 17, 1953, in Quincy, IL, to William and Irene (Reddick) Lang. He was united in marriage to Terrie Glenn on September 27,1986 in Milan, IL.

Larry was an electrician for many years with IBEW Local #145. He enjoyed cooking for family and friends. He was a volunteer firefighter with the Colona Fire Department. Larry volunteered in his church food pantry and served on mission trips to Guatemala and Costa Rica. His last mission trip was to the Florida Panhandle to assist in hurricane recovery.

Larry is survived by his mother, Irene Lang; wife, Terrie Lang; children, Minnie (Rich) Tanamor, Larry Michael Lang, and Matthew (Amber) Lang; grandchildren, Aspen Entsminger, Roderick Tanamor, Alex Meador, Gabby Andrus, Krystal Lang, and Ace Lang; great-grandchildren, Syrus and Kai.

He was preceded in death by his father, William; sister, Candie Rink and nephew, Jacob Rink.
