Klareen E. Reyes

Klareen E. Reyes, 81, of Davenport, died Wednesday, September 28, 2022 at Genesis East, Davenport.  Graveside services will be held at Holy Family Cemetery, Davenport.  Halligan-McCabe-DeVries Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.  Memorials may be made to the family.

Klareen was born on May 3, 1941 in Fennimore, Wisconsin, a daughter of Clarence W. and Marguerite (Donahue) Sherwin.  She was united in marriage to Nick Reyes, Sr.  He preceded in her in death on June 23, 1974.

Klareen made cookies at Crescent Macaroni Company for many years, worked at St. Ambrose College, and drove for Great River Bend Transit. 

She enjoyed coloring and crafts, shopping, and spending time with family and friends.

She is survived by her sons: Jeffrey Reyes, and Randy (Stacy) Reyes, all of Davenport, several stepchildren, six grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, a sister, Mary Jo Holly, California, and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, her stepfather, Chuck Jurisic, siblings, Jack, Tom, Larry, twin sister, Kathleen, a special friend, Jim Baker and her cat, Lilly.  May they rest in peace.
