Kevin Lee Smith

   Kevin Lee Smith, age 59, of Davenport, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, August 11, 2022 at his home. According to his wishes, cremation will take place and private burial be in the National Cemetery, Rock Island Arsenal. Halligan-McCabe-DeVries Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.

   Kevin was born on October 24, 1962, in Davenport, to Robert and Nancy (Hoelper) Smith Sr. He was united in marriage to Dawn Menezes on March 30, 1984, in Davenport. Kevin was honorably discharged from the U.S. Army having served from 1980-1983. Kevin worked for many years with Wonder Bread, and most recently with the U.S. Postal Service.

   He is survived by his wife, Dawn; Children, Charmel Menezes, Akai (Emily) Smith, and Aaron Soboroff (2^nd son); 7 grandchildren; and a brother, Robert Smith Jr.

   He was preceded in death by his parents.
