Kelli McGinnis

Kelli R. McGinnis, 66, of Davenport, passed away Friday, January 24, 2025, at the University of Iowa, following a brief illness. Cremation will be accorded, and a celebration of her life will be held at a later date. Halligan-McCabe-DeVries Funeral Home, Davenport, assisted the family.

Kelli Roxanne McGinnis was born September 30, 1958, in Rock Island, a daughter of Gary and Patricia (Carrigan) McGinnis. 

Kelli had a keen eye for fashion and interior design and was an interior painter until her health forced her to retire.

Her family was her life, and she was their biggest fan and loudest cheerleader. She was strong-willed, independent, and full of life. She had enjoyed gardening and had the proverbial green thumb. Kelli also enjoyed being around the water, boating, laying on the beach, and listening to Jimmy Buffet.

Those left to honor her memory include her daughters Noelle (Bryan) Myers and Amanda (Michael) Tyler; granddaughters aka her “killer B’s” Brianna, Belle, and Brigette Myers all of Davenport; and sister Kim Solveson of Bettendorf.

She was preceded in death by her parents and sister Karen Schnoebelen.
