Keith Avey

Keith Avey, 81, of Davenport, passed away, Monday, January 1, 2024 at Genesis Medical Center, East Campus.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 am on Friday, January 5, 2023 at Sacred Heart Cathedral with visitation being held from 9:30 am until the time of Mass at Church.  Entombment will be in Davenport Memorial Park.  Memorials may be made to Genesis Foundation or the church. 

Keith was born on May 28, 1942 in Davenport, Iowa, son of Earl and Alice (Beert) Avey.  He was united in marriage to Jean Avey on April 4, 1964.  She preceded him in death on August 20, 2023.

Keith enjoyed hunting and fishing and would share these adventures with his grandchildren.  Above all he loved his family and cherished the time he spent with them.

Those left to honor his memory include sons Mark Avey and Christopher Avey; grandchildren Zachary and Brianna; brother Brian (Cindy) Avey; and sister in law Joyce Avey.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Dennis and his wife Jean.
